2011, I weighed a whopping 150 lbs soaking wet. I was an athlete who thought I was fit. The truth was, I was lacking a strong physique. I naturally had muscle tone and a skinny boy six pack... but lacked the fullness, and symmetry that makes a physique shine.
In 2012, I was inspired to play football after watching a series on Netflix called Friday Night Lights. I've been a competitive athlete my entire life and that show re-sparked the fire in me that had been slowing fading away. There was one small problem though... I've never stepped foot on a football field in my life!
To be honest, I only knew what the words 'hike' and 'touchdown' meant. Never-the-less, I made the decision to finish my degree in Kansas City. After a quick Google search of college's that offered football 'Near Me', I landed on Mid-America Nazarene University. So I made the call to the head coach and landed an interview the next day. I'll never forget the words the coach said to me that day: "You look a little small" and "what do you mean you've never played football?"
Not only did I make the tryout, I was given a scholarship to play! So I spent the rest of the year lifting weights with the team and learning 12 years worth of football in about 3 months. Through this journey, I fell in love with weightlifting. After football and college, I purchased a gym membership and pursued my passion in bodybuilding.
Now it's time that I get to share my knowledge and experience with YOU! I've made it my business to help others get on the right path to a new YOU! I have been there and I have done it, so I get the struggles of everyday life. So when you're ready to commit to me, know that 100% I'm ready to commit to YOU!
